Green Blanket
For those with a weak stomach, I am about to be sentimental.
Green blanket started as just that, a green blanket. He first brought it to a picnic to protect against sodden spring grass. It failed that day but since then has been part of daily life. An extra blanket in Winter when the bedroom window didn't close properly, a couch blanket when heating wasn't working, frequent camping. Green blanket had lived its best life and was starting to show wear.
With green blanket as a base, the aforementioned 'pile of clothes' and a few rainy winter evenings I gave green blanket a fabric collage makeover.
Every blanket is different. Green blanket will never be finished, as my clothes cycle continues I will add more to it, small significances.
